Never say Hockey is Over….

Many people right now are saying that Hockey is done for another year after the Los Angeles Kings captured the Stanley Cup is Glorious fashion in Game 6 with a 6-1 over the New Jersey Devils but, for Cardboard fans the season is never done.

As a cardbord fan, we are all looking thru our collections to see what Kings Rookie Cards we have as we all know that over the next few weeks that our 2007-08 SP Authentic Rookie Cards of Jonathan Quick will be going thru the roof as already evidenced this morning on many card selling sites such as Ebay and Sports Card Direct (sportscarddirect.com).  We are preparing for new releases of Panini’s Titanium (June 13) and Upper Deck’s SP Authentic (June 29) and reading all the latest gossip regarding trades and who will sign who come Free Agency season on July 1.  Teams that didn’t do so well this year on the Ice are looking at this year’s cardboard successes to build towards the future such as Nugent-Hopkins for the Oilers, Landeskog for the Avalanche and well you can say Henrique would have been a huge part of the Devils rebuilding but they defied the odds and made it to the finals along with the Kings and Henrique and Voynov were huge players for their teams, and we haven’t even talked about the Upcoming Entry Draft of the best prospects in the World.

So when someone says to you that Hockey is over for another Season, just remember there is no quit in Hockey, the Season or the Hobby.
